RACINE, Wis., Feb 19, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- Johnson Outdoors Inc. (Nasdaq:JOUT) will hold its annual shareholder meeting on February 26, 2009 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central Time at the Company's global headquarters, located at 555 Main Street in Racine, Wisconsin. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.
At the meeting, shareholders will elect directors for the coming year and ratify auditors for the 2009 fiscal year. The Board of Directors recommends shareholders vote FOR all proposals before them.
All shareholders of record as of January 14, 2009 are eligible to vote upon these matters, and will find information pertinent to the items in the Company's Annual Meeting proxy statement mailed to shareholders on or about January 16, 2009 and filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 21, 2009. The Company's annual report and annual meeting proxy statement are also available on the Company's website at www.johnsonoutdoors.com under Investors.
After completion of voting on the items requiring shareholder approval, management will then discuss the state of the business and strategic growth opportunities.
